What we learned from the Flutter Q3 2022 survey
The most recent quarter was no exception — the Flutter team wanted to collect developer feedback about four topics: 1) Firebase SDKs, 2) quick fixes and refactorings, 3) target platforms, and 4) desktop support. Of these four topics, the survey presented each respondent with two random topics. This article covers the results about the first three topics. Reduce Image Sizes by Removing Metadata
A good lossless optimization (one that reduces file size without reducing image quality) is the removal of image metadata which stores things like camera settings, latitude/longitude, and more. The metadata is not used for the visual display, so removing it safely reduces the image file size which improves site performance.
